Co-founders Shruti, Aditi, Rashmi, and Akshaya are all childhood friends who wanted to make a difference together. After running a lemonade stand ('The Refreshment Stand') together in the 5th grade and donating the proceeds to a local animal shelter, the founding team searched for another way to do charitable work together.
In the 10th grade, they landed on the idea for Ladki Love: a way for Indian-American girls to build a community and help their Indian girl counterparts who were not as fortunate. Ladki Love is a celebration of friendship, community, and lifting each other up. Thank you for stopping by! |
